Punching bag status undeserved.

It is deserved, him and his cheerleader Kayslay from the gate were touting him as the new king of new york with each shittier than the last mixtape drop. That’s why he turned into a joke, this dude has been hanging around with boring songs since 2004, two years later has a best of papoose tape, then finally in 2011 decides to come out with king of new york tape?  

I think there are plenty of worse rappers but he was one of the ones who held on to those king of new york bullshit dreams, bringing lyrics BACK bullshit and never did. He is the proto big sean/j cole and with just the same amount of personality and empty raps.

Dude never caught on no matter how much they pushed him or how much he refused to believe so of course it turned into a hip hop joke. He should have realized that shit when two years into his rap dream he thought it was perfectly fine to release a Best of mixtape on goddamn FLIPMODE RECORDS. fucking delusional, hell I remember then joking that he was the new Spliff Starr.

Dudes in the Bay Area are so gassed off Boar’s Head. Every time I try to tell anyone about how most sandwiches here are are trash and how even basic bullshit on the East Coast is better they get all but do they even use Boar’s Head like you could build a sandwich with two flat stones for bread…

I wouldn’t say I was gassed on off Boar’s Head growing up in San Francisco, but in California Boar’s Head’s merchandizing or marketing or whatever is such that it appears to be incredibly high end. Sure, you could go to the deli counter at Safeway and get Select brand turkey, or you could have this obscene and exotic torpedo of mozzarella and prosciutto, from Boar’s Head, currently commingling in the most inappropriate ways in the fancy cheese and dips island by the checkout aisles.

The other factor at work here is that you can’t just buy a sandwich any damn place in San Francisco. It is not a city that demands every corner store have stale Portuguese rolls and Salsalito Turkey loaves. Moving to New York, I was stunned and thrilled (and eventually disgusted) to discover that even the shittiest bodega will make an edible sandwich, whenever you want. And they use Boar’s Head! But, unlike in San Francisco, they can’t sell you liquor. I suspect the two are related.

If they can’t sell liquor your corner store is fucking worthless. Make it a sandwich place and stop pretending to be a corner store with any value.

Eastcoast bullshit old timey fuckery alcohol laws are another reason why I can never live there.
