this is my Ice Cube cube, you’ll have to excuse the length of time it takes me to change it. I’m hung over, tired, and apparently no match for this battle of wits

i’m black and deadly, and my burner’s just like me.

I want to like this a million times over. I used to dream about being Axel Foley. Nothing will ever top Eddie Murphy in the 80’s.

I miss you 80’s Eddie Murphy

Canibus Strikes – Blaze Magazine Promo/Preview Issue (June 1998)

Yes children, there was a time when Canibus was a viable cover story. Blaze was a pretty good magazine for its time, though I remember being completely frustrated by the fact that they would blur out all the curse words.

This magazine sucked, it came out in that weird hiphop mag era of a crumbling rap pages, the bezino dynasty of 6 page spreads on the fucking made men, when a magazine like Urban Latino could put Bobbito on their covers, Equinox popped up out of the northwest, I think on the go had folded by then, everyone had special “4 element” issues, if you wanted to read about rap you had to go through some straight bullshit. I mean I would pay money for this mag then but only because rap pages had gone to shit and I didn’t want to read the source anymore.
