Hollywood Colorz f/ Swagga Dagga – “(Set Em Out) Slide Show” (Internet, 2009)

@beerandrap just put me up on all this St. Louis shit. Let it be said that I support fight hop being produced in any and all parts of the country. Matter of fact if anything would open me up to international rap it’d be some old fashioned fight music. Elbows are the universal translator.

Master P “Jack of the Jackers” (In-A-Minute 1991)

Master P “Real Toons” (No Limit/In-A-Minute Records 1991)

“Jack of the Jackers” was a tape-only single released on In-A-Minute Records in 1991.  It showcases a very young-sounding P spitting gangsta rhymes over a prototypical g-funk track (at this point, No Limit wasn’t much more than a storefront in Richmond, CA), while “Real Toons” was featured on the “I’m Going Big Time” 12” that was released about a year after his solo debut, Get Away Clean, on No Limit/In-A-Minute.

Someone should make a compilation of all the ice cube inspired westcoast raps of the early 90s
