Magdalenasolis with that scary time slow jam. New shit on their next drop.
Ya boy got a new heater today. This bitch is gonna jam (Taken with instagram)
I had written the liks off years ago but this shit sounds good, like good enough to be excited for this collab to actually work.
South Central Cartel – Had To Be Loc’d
My Goomba brother Marlow dropped his tape today. Download it here.
downloaded this off the strength of the cover alone.
Dan Lactose/EonsOne was on the Stuff You Will Hate Podcast
He was in Spazz and now he’s in Grand Invincible with Luke Sick. I need to get caught up on these SYWH podcasts, I’m still on 6. Anyways peep cause dude has stories and he’s a nice guy.
Damn, that Killer Mike and El-P solo songs were nuts. I tuned out El-P back when he was beefing with Sole and have actively avoided him until the recent Mr. eXquire collabs. Have I missed anything in the meantime?

I think that Fantastic Damage is a dope record that got a shit ton of play when it dropped and still gets back into the rotation every now and then. I’ll Sleep When Your Dead has some moments but yeah I didn’t rock that one like I did FD. I really hate the Cryin song, that chorus is so bad.
Cancer For Cure seems more like a return to the style that made FD so enjoyable. While the beats don’t tend to be as dense there is a return to that sense of paranoia that made that record so fun for me. Not to say this is a stripped down standard boom bap joint because dude’s beats always got a good amount of shit going on to make them interesting but he doesn’t seem to pile it on like he did Fantastic Damage.
Also I feel like the stuff he did for Killer Mike is real dope too. Mike can rock a lot of styles but I feel like El-p’s style works well with Mike’s ability to create such a sense of urgency with his raps.
Got asked about that new El-P on the Stay Hatin tumblr but I felt like reblogging it here because I really like El’s latest sounds.
