When Amores Perros dropped I tried to get my pops to watch it. He refused and said mexican cinema ended with Cantinflas. Fast forward 6-7 years when I was visiting them and my parents are asking me if I’ve seen Amores Perros because they just discovered it.
My own fucking family doesn’t listen to me when I try to put them up on game! This doesn’t have much to even really do with Cantinflas, just that I’m still salty my mom hated the movie when I showed it to her but was all up on it when my fucking dad decided to watch it.
