first time I finally got to see MJ was the fall of 1998 in Austin, they opened for Heiro at the Electric Room. Club was 250 capacity and they shoved 500 kids in there. Pregamed with 2 cases of High Life tall boys and some homies on whippets and shrooms. Tore that fucking club up. I miss those years of coming out of shows soaking wet and jumping around all night.
Motherfucker you think I’m rowdy now, you should have seen then. I had a habit of climbing things and yelling at people. Climbing a mountain of empty kegs, kitchen counters, trees whatever. Just wanted to stand above the crowd and be loud.
