1994 - Beer And Rap

In 1994 I use to sit in my room where I had a old car seat from some mid 80’s honda accord for a chair. I set up my speakers on either side of it so when you sat in there they pointed directly at your head. I took the old home speakers out and put some low end 8" MTX joints in it. I would sit there doing my homework or reading rap magazines while wordless car audio bass tapes just vibrated away on my face. I would sit there for hours flipping through issues of rap pages or on the go. It was an after school ritual. My parents must have thought I was an idiot.

When I moved into the dorms at UT my roomate didn’t understand why I wanted a car seat in the room. I told him it helped me study. I don’t know how that dude put up with me.
